The news has been released that from China’s Microsoft WinHEC conference, Windows 7 Build 6956 as a VHD was leaked. “Chinese hackers” has transformed the VHD into an installable ISO and it is being desperately downloaded worldwide.

Firstly, it is reported that Windows 7 Build 6956 leaks to web as a VHD” with the affirmation that “Chinese hackers” would transform it to an ISO. Later it has been reported that “Detailed Windows 7 Build 6956 VHD installation instructions has emerged”. And, now it has been revealed that the hackers have achieved the target of converting the VHD file into an ISO.

The MDL site revealed the statement which states that developers in China had managed to install Windows 7 Build 6956, clean the extra user accounts, run the Sysprep utility to generalize, clean and re-initialize the system to factory state, and then uses Windows 7 ImageXto apprehend and create Windows image (.wim file format) dwelling of only Windows 7 Build 6956 installation files under WinPE environment. Then, the generated install.wim file is used to replace and overwrite the same file in Windows 7 Build 6801 installation DVD image.

This shows that to host the Windows Build 6956 files, the Windows Build 6801 installation environment is being used and you can even look at the properties of the “computer” icon that will display that you are really running Windows Build 6956. The fastness and the tools of this build does not show that it is the hacked one. It has been reported that the build is faster than Windows Build 6801, and features “superbar” and other “Blue badge Tool” that are already enabled that indicates that it is really a Windows Build 6956 and not the hacked one.

This build is going very close to the definite official beta build. Also, it has been said that Apple will going to hold its Macworld 2009 conference with Steve Jobs regarding earlier release of AKA OS X 106, or to get a great preview which is designed to contaminate the release of the Windows 7 official beta.

What surprises is that before the official launch of beta, Chinese hackers have released the hacked one. But the question arises if one can trust Chinese hackers. No one knows may be malwares has been injected in to the ISO.
