Problem: User upgrading to Windows 7 from Windows Vista will notice that Windows 7 is quick and takes less hard drive space as compared to its older counterparts. However, some of the applets like  Mail, Movie Maker and Photo Galley etc. are not included in standard Windows installation.

Resolution: These applets can be downloaded from the Windows Live Essential site (i.e. download.live.com).

•    Live Essentials also installs some extra applets like ActiveX control and Windows Live sign-in assistant.
•    If you want to remove these extra programs from the system, you can safely remove them from the Control Panel Uninstall A Program applet.
