Disabling the unwanted services in Windows 7 can really speed up the system boot time.

Follow the given instructions in order to disable services:
STEP 1. Open the Control Panel. Find out the Windows 7 Administrative Tools icon. Then, click on Services. Or, you can open the Start Menu and Type in services.msc in the search line. Then, Hit Enter.
STEP 2. In case you get a prompted, click on continue in the UAC prompt. Again, for administrators approval you might have to enter the password.
STEP 3. Right click on the service you wish to start or disable. Click on Properties.
STEP 4. Now you can either disable or start a service as per your need.
You need to reboot your system in order to bring changes into effect.
