The thing to be sure of inmost instances is that the other antivirus programs are completely uninstalled first then install the new program. This worked for us.

I installed Bitdefender on my mom’s laptop. When I rebooted the computer it crashed. We have the computer running now but it doesn’t have Bitdefender on it now. I want to try to reinstall it, but I don’t want to crash it again.

f you are not able to install Bitdefender or getting any error then following are the possibilities.

1. Computer doesn’t meet the minimal system requirement.
2. Conflict due to existing Anti-Virus.
3. Installation files are corrupted on CD.
4. Don’t have a valid serial key.

i tried to install on BD on windows 7 pc and the installer just disappears after “checking later versions of bit defender”

.i tried to install bitdefender antivirus 2010 in my wind 7 laptop…….160gb harddisk….2 gb ram core 2 duo…. i have a error while installation process “there is a problem with this windows installer package.program required for this install to complete could not be run.contact your support personnel or vendor”
