STEP 1. Right click on My Computer.
STEP 2. Go to system propeties window.
STEP 3. You will get a tab “Performance Infromation and Tools.” Click on it.
STEP 4. Now click Re-run the assessment.

Start>Run>type cmd, to open the DOS Window. Now enter the command “winsat formal.”
It will calculate the Windows Experience Index, and if it is above 3.0 the feature of Aero will get enabled automatically.

You can make variation in colors as : Right click on desktop>Personalize>Select Windows Colors.
