Windows 7Windows 7 allows you to to access the printer, whether you are at home or office, over the same network.

Problem:

Earlier, a lot of problem was faced by the users when they wanted to access certain data which was stored on office PC.

Solution:

Microsoft’s latest operating system includes devices which can connect to a PC locally or wirelessly, join network and offers rich applications which makes user to use these applications in more flexible manner.

Home network can be easily created with Windows 7 that can connect your PC to a printer with HomeGroup allowing you to watch and record your favorite movie with Windows Media Center.
You can associate a default printer to a network that means you have a default printer both at home and at the work place. If the user is at home and the computer is connected to home network the user can automatically print the documents from the home printer and if the user is at work place and the computer is connected to the work network the default printer will automatically print from the office printer. The feature can detect the location and itself makes the transition from work to home to use the correct printer in each location.

Default printing changes itself in Windows 7 depending upon the connected network. It becomes aware of the location from where you are printing with Location aware printing feature. In the operating system, a multifunction printer will not show up as collection of three or four components but will show up as a single device in devices and Printers. If you want to share files between Windows 7 and XP then it can be possible, provided you have a home network and Windows 7 is running on your system and XP on the other. These new feature is included with the purpose of user experience and system enhancement.
