Windows 7 allows you to to access the printer, whether you are at home or office, over the same network.

The feature can detect the location and itself makes the transition from work to home to use the correct printer in each location.
Default printing changes itself in Windows 7 depending upon the connected network. It becomes aware of the location from where you are printing with Location aware printing feature. In the operating system, a multifunction printer will not show up as collection of three or four components but will show up as a single device in devices and Printers. If you want to share files between Windows 7 and XP then it can be possible, provided you have a home network and Windows 7 is running on your system and XP on the other. These new feature is included with the purpose of user experience and system enhancement.
