Do you know how to create a Windows 7 account and what UAC stands for?
Noticing that computers are many times run by several family members and different job partners, it is very practical to know how to create your own user account, since this gives you the possibility to customize your own environment, with your own desktop, document folders, startup menu among others. For doing this, you just have to go to the control panel, choose the Users Account and Family Safety, then go to the Add or Remove user account and then hit on Create a new account, fill in the information required and click Create Account.
When Windows Vista was created, it was made to be much safer than the Windows XP, a big part of this was made thanks to the Windows 7 UAC (User Account Control).
Windows 7 has taken the best part of Windows Vista and upgraded it, taking the case of UAC, there is better control, let´s look at the parts more closely:
User Account Control
Level 4
Level 3
Level 2
Level 1
User Account Control
Its main purpose was that there would be no changes in the system, unless done by the administrator. Instead of having an option to completely disable it, you can now choose from four different levels.
Level 4
In this level you get a notification each time a program tries to install software or make any changes to the computer.
Level 3
It notifies only when any program tries to make any changes in the computers, it doesn´t notify when a user tries to make adjustments to Windows. This is the predetermined level.
Level 2
It notifies only when the programs try to make any changes in the computers without darkening the screen, it doesn´t notify when a user tries to make adjustments to Windows. This level is exactly the same as level 3, without darkening the screen.
Level 1
It never notifies when programs try to install software or make any changes to the computer, or when the user changes adjustments to Windows.
