windows 7 CodeFinally, the Windows 7 code has been released. The manufacturers of the Windows operating system, Microsoft, who has launched its latest operating system Windows 7 confirmed the news and said it was releasing the Windows 7 code to PC manufacturers. This was done with the intention to get all the computers ready to meet the challenges and run its new operating system Windows 7.

The move by the software giants has been seen in different light by many observers. Computer makers like Hewlett-Packard Co, Dell Inc, Acer Inc etc. have the freedom now to start loading new PCs, laptops and netbooks with the new operating system from Microsoft, Windows 7. This new OS has managed to bail Microsoft out of troubled waters after it suffered a huge set-back with the launch of Vista.

The launch of the new operating helped generate a lot of fanfare and excitement back for Microsoft. Certain analysts say that the launch of the new OS boosted PC sales and also fished the PC industry out of the slump caused by the worldwide economic recession. It’s launch has also gone down well with the incidental occasion of the festive season. The holiday shopping season is also expected to boost. All this hype have been generated ever since the time Microsoft the Windows 7 code.

It can be noted that the Windows 7 was tested for several months before it was released in October. These testings were done on the early versions of the OS. But just before it’s release Microsoft unveiled what critics call the “gold code”. This caption was coined by a Lenovo Group Ltd executive, after making a reference to the software industry lingo which was kept aside for the release of the new operating system from Microsoft.

With the release of the Windows 7 code, things have become much easier for PC makers. They can enable the transfer directly through electricity. The Windows 7 code release day was important as on this day manufacturers rushed and scurried about to get hold of fresh products into stores before the new operating was set to be released.  Computers which have the Windows 7 installed, or have devices that are compatible with the new operating system had not to care about anything as long as they had the Windows 7 logo on them. Microsoft has learned a lot from Vista’s failure and this time around, the company has spent more time with the new OS so that the failures have been corrected.
